Biography

Mrs. Phyllis Rae Patton, 70, of Huntersville, NC died Wednesday October 19, 2011 at her residence. Born April 8, 1941 in Bluefield, Virginia she was a daughter of Ruby Ruble Leedy of Bland, VA and the late John M. Leedy.

Memorial Services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday October 23 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Foy officiating. The family will receive family and friend prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

A loving and devoted wife, partner, mother, grandmother, sister and friend,

she leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 50 years, Herbert R. “Randy” Patton, Jr; daughter, Randa Patton McDonald of Christiansburg, VA; son, Herbert R. Patton III of Blacksburg VA; grandson, Ryan McDonald and two brothers, Kenneth Leedy of Newport News, VA and Calvin Leedy of Roanoke, VA.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210.
